George Mwangala

George leads the Purpose portfolio across Africa. He brings together expertise in campaigning, public mobilising & organising, strategic communication & partnership, a passion for climate justice and social change. George has over 13 years of global experience in campaigning, lobbying for policy change and movement building. He is enthusiastic about creatively engaging and motivating the public to raise their voices and take action for social change. George has led multiple social impact campaigns globally across different issues ranging climate, energy, elections integrity, SRHR, Covid-19 mis & disinformation, vaccine equity among others. At Purpose George is part of the core team leading the Purpose Climate Lab.
