Chih-Yuan Shih is a family physician and the director of Health Promotion and Management Center of Taipei City Hospital. He is also a doctoral student at Institute of Health Policy and Management, College of Public Health, National Taiwan University. He received clinical training at National Taiwan University Hospital, board certified Family Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine in Taiwan. After his clinical training, he became an attending physician at National Taiwan University Hospital Jin-Shan Branch in 2009 and started to participate in community-based palliative care. In 2016, he moved to Taipei City Hospital, which is famous as the first hospital devote to home healthcare and transitional care under the leading of Superintendent Sheng-Jean Huang.
