Dr. Sabrina Lamour-Julien is the Research Lead for Therapeutics within the Infectious Disease Health Challenge at Wellcome, covering R&D initiatives for antimicrobials. Key interests include the development and implementation of novel and/or improved therapeutic interventions for infectious diseases, particularly affecting communities most in need. She also has a broader interest in driving innovative and equitable solutions for global health. Prior to Wellcome, Sabrina worked several years in scientific research across academia and industry, and has expertise in healthcare business development, stakeholder management and fostering collaboration. She holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research and a MRes in Biomedical Research, from Imperial College London. As Chair of Wellcome’s Race Equity Network, she continues to promote diversity and inclusion at Wellcome.
