Friedel Laurentius Dausab, is Namibian public health and human rights activist more years of experience in civil society sector. Started activism as a newly diagnosed young person at 25 years in 1999, and gradually moved to PLHIV inclusion to LGBT inclusion in the national HIV response.
Currently a litigant with a High Court win which is being appealed at Supreme Court by Namibian government.
He has recently stepped down from the board of GNP+ and the Namibian Global Fund CCM (NACCATUM), as well as the Steering Committee of AFNHI (Africa Free of new HIV Infections).
Friedel has just been recognized with a Global Black Pride Influencer 2024 award in Atlanta, USA in July.
Currently Consultant and Safety and Security Focal Point for LGBTIQ+ communities in Namibia with a mandate to establish sustainable Safety and Security infrastructure against homo/transphobic backlash.
