Rebecca Katherine Ivic

Dr. Rebecca Katherine Ivic’s scholarship focuses on health communication, vaccines, health information, and the role of technology in shaping health behaviors and engagement. She leads interdisciplinary research that integrates communication theory with advanced methods such as natural language processing, network analysis, and machine learning to examine how people and organizations communicate about health in digital spaces. As associate dean of research, she oversees strategic initiatives that strengthen research capacity and faculty success. She has developed grant support systems, research seed programs, and partnerships with national centers and institutes to enhance collaborative research and external funding.
