Ibrahim Cunaku

Ibrahim Çunaku is leading the business unit eHealth and holds the position of Deputy CIO at VAMED Group with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Ibrahim holds a PhD in technical sciences specialised in bio-signal acquisition and processing from the Technical University of Vienna. He has deep expertise in the health care IT sector, both private and public, and has implemented a range of medical IT projects in the Gulf region, Europe and Africa. He was leading the process of drafting a national eHealth concept for Gabon, which was the starting point for further eHealth development in the country. Furthermore, Ibrahim Çunaku is engaged in the business development strategies for VAMED’s different regions. Additionally, he is participating in the process of digitalizing health care services provided by VAMED. Apart from his professional career, Ibrahim Çunaku is teaching professor in the public university of Kosovo and is supporting the academic and professional careers of the students.
