About Jérôme Weinbach

Dr. Jérôme Weinbach is deputy director for European and International Affairs of the French Social Ministries, which include the Ministry of Health and Prevention. PhD-graduated in the field of gene therapy of cancer via adenoviral gene transfer, as well as engineer in biotechnology and infectious diseases from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Toulouse, he has also received an advanced training in European affairs and policies at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). He currently leads the EC co-funded European Joint Action aiming at maximizing the impact of the European Global Health Strategy, improving coordination between national and European strategies and resources and projects in the field of global health. This project, started on October 1st 2023 gathers 22 EU countries plus Norway and Ukraine.
