Pradip Paudel is a prominent young leader in Nepali politics. Born in 1975 in Tanahun, Gandaki Province, he began his political journey through the student wing of Nepali Congress Party, Nepal Students Union, where he became the President of the Free Students' Union at Amrit Science Campus and later served as the Central President of Nepal Students Union. He played a key role in Nepal’s People’s Movement of 2006, advocating for democracy and human rights.
Currently, Paudel serves as the Minister for Health and Population in the Government of Nepal. His focus areas include strengthening healthcare systems, promoting good governance, and advancing social justice. As an elected member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, Paudel is seen as a leader of hope and inspiration, particularly among the youth.
