Tanya Herfurth

Tanya Herfurth is a young global health enthusiast. She is a founding board member of Young Leaders for Health (YLH), a nonprofit organization wishing to nurture the next generation of leaders in public and global health. She is of the opinion that interdisciplinary work has huge potential for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. With this in mind, she co-created the YLH Social Entrepreneurship Challenge on eHealth to empower students and young professionals by giving them the platform and the means to launch a sustainable project in the realm of digital health systems. In addition to managing YLH, Tanya Herfurth currently serves as the co-chair of the steering committee of the Global Health Hub Germany. She has a background in medicine and political science, and is currently specializing in international political economy.
