Dr. Tania Rödiger-Vorwerk is a subdivision head at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). She heads the subdivision "Economy, Trade, Employment, Digitalization". Over the past 15 years, she has held various management positions. As head of the planning staff, she was responsible for strategic planning and policy analysis as well as communication with parliament and cabinet. As head of the Environment, Energy and Infrastructure subdivision, she was involved in the Habitat III process. As Post-2015 Sherpa, she led the team that supported former German President Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler in developing a proposal for an SDG agenda for Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. Before joining BMZ, she worked in the private sector.
