Augustin Sendegeya

Dr Augustin Sendegeya, MD, MMed ORL-HNS is the Director General of the Butare University Teaching Hospital(CHUB) which is located in Southern Province of Rwanda. It’s mandate is to provide health care, to provide medical education, to conduct research in health issues,to provide support to Provincial and District hospitals in terms of health care services and capacity building, to contribute to the improvement of health care services by supporting the development of protocols and guidelines for all levels of health care facilities,to establish partnerships and collaboration with other institutions with similar mission at local, regional and international levels. His MD is from the National University of Rwanda(1995-2001) and his MMed is from the University of Witwatersrand/South Africa(2006-2011). From 2012 up to 2013, he was the Head of Department o ORL/HNS(CHUB) and from 2013 up to now, he held the post of Director General of CHUB.
