About Ingrid Keller

Ingrid is a public health specialist by training with more than 20 years of experience in global and European public health policy. After working 7 years for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Ingrid came to the Public Health Executive Agency of the European Commission to implement the European Health Programme. When joining the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) in 2015, she worked on policies for non-communicable diseases, vaccination and the European response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2021 she is leading DG SANTE’s Health Security Unit.
