Hera Ali is a Clinical Pharmacist based in England, United Kingdom, with an interest in Public Health and Youth Advocacy. Hera has served 1.5 years as the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF) Chairperson of Public Health; advocating for youth engagement and inclusion on a global level at high level meetings such as the WHO World Health Assembly. Coordinating the Public Health activities of IPSF on a global level, leading a team of 30 individuals including Regional Project Officers from all five of the IPSF Regional Offices. Hera is passionate about antimicrobial stewardship and promoting a One Health approach to ensure all sectors are encouraging interprofessional working from the student level to aid the relations once in professional life. Hera has led several campaigns and health initiatives in collaboration with various other healthcare student organisations such as IFMSA, IVSA and IADS. During her time in IPSF, she has initiated engagement of pharmaceutical students on a variety of areas such as climate change, chemicals and waste and antimicrobial resistance.
