About Nathalie Ernoult

Nathalie Ernoult has over 25 years of experience in humanitarian action and a specialist in access to medicines advocacy. She is the head if Advocacy and communication for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Access, an international entity dedicated to addressing barriers to medical care, ensuring that quality health products and innovations are accessible to people in MSF projects and beyond. She previously work as country director and regional coordinator where she witnessed first hand the critical gaps in access to quality medical care faced by vulnerable populations. She led humanitarian operations in conflict zones as well as in contexts affected by natural disasters and economic crisis across Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. Her frontline experience with populations in need has directly informed her advocacy work to ensure that essential medical products such as medicines, vaccines, diagnostics are available, affordable and adapted to the realities faced by communities in MSF projects. Nathalie Ernoult has a master’s degree in communication and a Post Graduate diploma in mediation from the school of law at Paris Patheon Assas. She is a researcher and lecturer at the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques (IRIS) where she serves as a co-director of the Observatoire de la Santé.
