Caity Jackson, MSc., is the Co-Founder of the ‘Women in Global Health’ movement, a movement born from the gender inequity seen in global health leadership today. She is the Director of European Engagement for the San Francisco-based global health education organization, Child Family Health International (CFHI) and Director of International Relations at the social startup, Fuzia. Through her own Jackson Consulting International company, Caity works with organizations to produce targeted communications and build short course curriculums in various health topics. She can be seen on the unique live weekly global health show, This Week in Global Health (TWiGH), and has led the Canadian Society for International Health's global health mentorship program, MentorNet, for many years. Caity also founded and organizes the one-of-a-kind annual Global Health Student and Young Professional Summit in Canada aimed completely at Students and Young Professionals (SYPs) and consults on global health education with the Consortium of Universities for Global Health's (CUGH) Education Committee. Caity received an honours BHSc from the Univeristy of Ottawa and a Master of Medical Science in Global Health from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, where she now lives. Her extensive work in global health education includes mentorship, pre-departure training, and curriculum/competency development.
