Gonzalo Fanjul is a researcher and activist focused on poverty and inequality. In the last two decades, he has been actively involved in research and policy initiatives related to global health, migration and development issues. He is currently policy director at the Barcelona Institute of Global Health (ISGlobal) where he leads policy initiatives related to SDGs, innovation & access to medicines, and the quality of aid. He is also the co-founder of porCausa Foundation, an ambitious investigative journalism project in Latin America and Europe, and the editor and co-author of El País’ development blog “3.500 Millones”. Beyond his publications at ISGlobal, his work includes collaborations with the Overseas Development Institute, the Center for Global Development, Oxfam, Real Instituto Elcano or Save the Children UK.
