Stephen is an Australian, who graduated in Hospitality Management from Michigan State University in 1984. He also completed culinary arts studies at Ecole Hotelier Lausanne, and the Culinary Institute of America, later becoming a trade certified chef.
He began his career in Management with Sheraton Hotels in Hawaii, and Auckland. He progressed to Hospitality Industry entrepreneurship in Sydney; owning and operating businesses in all areas of the industry.
After selling the last of his interests in 2007, Stephen taught hospitality and life skills to long term unemployed in remote regions of Australia. He built on that experience, lecturing in Marketing, Human Resources, Strategic Management, Event Management and Entrepreneurship at Southern Cross University, Sydney. After completing a Masters of Education, Stephen lectured MBA candidates in Project Management, Human Resources, Strategic Management and e-business Entrepreneurship.
Since leaving lecturing in 2019, Stephen has focussed his attention on his idea for an e-resource to protect children from sexual abuse. His research in the field took him to Project Dunkelfeld in Berlin. After several meetings, he decided that his philanthropy would be better directed towards the ongoing efforts at Project Dunkelfeld, and his time better spent helping Project Dunkelfeld in whatever way his skills and resources could best help.
