Paul J. Simpson

Paul is The BMJ’s international audience editor and joined the journal in 2017. He previously worked as deputy editor of PLOS Medicine, and before that was a research associate at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge. He received his PhD in biological sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and his BSc in biochemistry from the University of York in 2003.
