Karin Geffert

Karin Geffert has been engaged in global health education activities for medical students on a local, national and international level for more than four years. Internships with NGOs and WHO provided her with valuable insights into the need for better global health education. Her current range of activities includes the German Medical Student's Association (bvmd), the Global Health Alliance Germany (GHA-D, a network of students and teachers aiming at strengthening Global Health at universities) and the 'Zukunftsforum Public Health'. She is a final year medical student at Julius-Maximilians-University in Wuerzburg, Germany.
