Javier Sancho Mas, MSc, is an Spanish-Nicaraguan Advocacy and Communication consultant and expert on International Law and Access to Health. He coordinates the Chagas Disease Global Coalition (a collaborative alliance of different organizations to achieve the goal of alleviating the human suffering caused by Chagas disease). Sancho Mas has been Information Coordinator for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and Regional Coordinator for Access to Medicines Campaign in the Free Trade Agreements between US and Latin American countries.
As a freelance writer, his contributions on health, culture and development topics are published in Spanish-Latin American mainstream media (such as El País). He has published two books on Culture and Fiction. He has leaded innovative communication initiatives about neglected diseases and neglected contexts. He started working with Chagas disease in 2003 in Latin America.
