Rebeen Pasha MSPH is a global health innovative solutions and partnerships expert and cultivator with two decades experience in global health. He is founder/CEO of Social Development Horizons LLC, with advisory projects on ai/tech solutions and co-design for health systems strengthening, youth engagement for SDGs, and mitigating effects of climate and conflict, and is also currently consulting for the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office as as a senior international advisor for partnerships. He has worked in Iraq for the UN on UNDAF and WHO leading Healthy Cities Initiative for PHC during the humanitarian to development transition, served as Senior Health Advisor at the Middle East for USAID, and was a PEPFAR agency approving official co-approving and -administering the global program. He started his career co-designing and setting up youth friendly services and vocational training programs all over Africa for community-based organizations. An Iraqi Kurdish refugee to the US in the 1990s, he was founder and CEO of a startup and entrepreneurship incubator and ecosystem support community MyeDream in Iraq after ISIS invaded Mosul, and spent four years working with youth and displaced entrepreneurs to spur innovation and startups, connecting ecosystems in fragile context in MENA with GCC and global communities. Rebeen has most recently been working in the health systems and pandemic space the last 4.5 years, starting as Director of Consulting in the GCC leading the support for establishment of the Saudi Public Health Authority (fka Saudi CDC), joining UNICEF during the pandemic as the inaugural Health Innovation Portfolio Manager, and GAVI/COVAX, where he was senior technical officer for the Joint Allocation Taskforce.
