Eglė is the elected Vice President for External Affairs of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), which represents 1.3 million medical students from 134 countries.
She has represented medical students worldwide in international meetings including World Health Assembly, World Health Summit and WHO Regional Committee for Europe, and acts as Board Alternate of the Healthcare Constituency of the Partnership for Maternal, Child and Newborn Health. Eglė has presented IFMSA’s work in the International Conference on Population and Development+25 and United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
She has also previously acted as Liaison Officer for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Issues including HIV and AIDS of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations for 2 terms.
