Dr Rocklöv´s research investigates the relationship between weather, climate and human diseases. He uses these insights to study impacts and to stimulate the development of policies to tackle and mitigate health effects from climate change. Dr. Rocklöv is a mathematician and statistician by training, he has a PhD in environmental health and is currently an Associate Professor in Epidemiology. Dr. Rocklöv is currently engaged in several international projects including: The Lancet Count Down 2030 project coordinated by University College London; The ISIMIP and ISIpedia projects coordinated by the Potsdam Institute of Climate Impact Research; The ZikaPLAN project coordinated by Umeå University; The WHO climate change country profile project; The Preparedness platform project for the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention; & the Early Warning (EWARs) project coordinated by the WHO-TDR.
