Chen Ermo is a postdoctoral research fellow of National School of Development / Institute of Global Health and Development, Peking University.
He graduated from Peking University, School of Mathematical Science and obtained a doctor's degree.
Previously, he was an actuary of RMD of China Reinsurance Group Corporation, Director of Risk Control, Chief Data Scientist and Senior Risk Consultant of Aden Technology.
Ermo’s main research interests are Risk Capital Measurement and Allocation, Uncertainty Measurement and Decision Making in Complex Systems, Health Technology Effectiveness Assessment and Planetary Health Metrics.
He is responsible for/participates in a number of research projects in the field of risk management and health, especially the Planetary Health Axis Project (PHA) of Institute of Global Health and Development.
He was awarded the 2019 China Health Insurance Science and Technology Innovation Award and the 2020 Best Health Insurance Science and Technology Innovation Award, and is the actuary who developed the first Weather Indexed Health Insurance in China.
