Prof (Dr) Balvir S Tomar is a highly qualified medical professional, entrepreneur and philanthropist. A Harvard USA and Kings College, London alumni, Dr Tomar did his MBBS, MD, MCH(USA), MAHT (ENGLAND), FIAP, FAAP(USA), FICA(USA), FACU (LONDON). International Clinical Fellowships: • Paediatric – Gastroenterology Fellowship from Harvard University, United States of America • Fellowship in Paediatric Hepatology from Kings collage of London school of Medicine (U.K.) • W.H.O. Fellow in Child Health in United States of America • Commonwealth Medical Fellow in London (UK) He stood topper throughout his study. He Joined as Professor at SMS Medical College, Dr Tomar started Nims University in Jaipur in 2002. He has been awarded with numerous prestigious awards as follows: • “Rajiv Gandhi Award 1998” for excellence in Paediatric Gastroenterology by the then Prime Minister of India, • “Visionary Edupreneur of India” award by the Ex. Dr Tomar was pioneer in inven]ng treatment of “Indian Childhood Cirrhosis” which was having 100% mortality that ]me and the same was published in “Advances in Paediatrics” a journal published from USA.
