Javier Francisco González Bello

Javier Francisco González Bello is Head of German Red Cross’ Delegation for Colombia and Venezuela. A lawyer by profession, he has more than 20 years of experience within the Red Cross Red Crescent movement, having worked with the German, the Netherlands, and the American Red Cross, as well as with the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent, in different countries throughout Latin America. His expertise in the humanitarian sector englobes sectors such as Health, DRR, WASH, and FSL, with a strong focus on emergency response operations. Together with the Colombian Red Cross, Javier supports projects in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning in several departments of Colombia.
