Steve Singh is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE and President, Business Networks and Applications, with end-to-end global responsibility for new growth areas of the company. This includes a recently formed healthcare business unit, focused on enabling smarter health decisions and advancing medical knowledge through best-in-class applications and services built on an open, cloud-based platform with a globally connected partner network. The SAP Connected Health platform is a core component, which enables a broad ecosystem of partners, including developers, researchers, and healthcare organizations, to accelerate the development and delivery of innovative, patient-centered solutions for improving health outcomes, reducing costs, and delivering connected healthcare services. Singh joined SAP in 2014 through the acquisition of Concur by SAP, extending SAP business networks with leading cloud-based solutions for innovative and effortless travel and expense management. Singh and Concur have garnered a wide range of recognition, both within the corporate travel industry and throughout the broader technology community. Singh has been named one of the 25 Most Influential People of the Year by Business Travel News seven times and was given the prestigious GBTA ICON Award by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) in July 2016. Before joining Concur, from 1993 to 1996 Singh was General Manager of the Contact Management Division at Symantec Corporation, an international technology firm focused on protecting information and computer systems. Prior to that, he co-developed ACT!, a pioneering contact management solution which was eventually acquired by Symantec. Singh began his career in technology with Apple Computer.
