Dr. Ralph Kray is Head International Affairs of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. He is an international science manager and academic administrator, with a background in healthcare management and health business projects. In Bern he co-initiated the strategic project of a joint public health program between the Canton of Bern and The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is responsible for scientific program planning and development with Hopkins, Stanford and Universities in Turkey and in other countries. Previously Dr. Kray served as a Coordinating Agent USA – Europe for the Provost Office/Vice Provost for International Programs of The Johns Hopkins University in the field of Medicine and Health since 2004 and as Executive Scholar at The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He also worked at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Medical University of Vienna in responsible positions and is known as an expert in strategic alliances between global industry, public sector and excellent international academia.
He is editor and author of many books and articles in the Humanities and in Healthcare Science & Management, and author of the German magazine “Stern” in the departments of medicine, science, and technology.
