About the session

How can global health move from crisis response to lasting resilience and turn shared ambition into concrete action? The World Health Summit 2026 Signature Event brings together leaders from government, multilateral institutions, civil society, and philanthropy, alongside youth voices and innovators, to explore the political choices, institutional changes, and innovations needed to deliver better health for all.

Across three interconnected acts, the Signature Event connects the challenge of reaching those left behind with the opportunities offered by inclusion, innovation, and collective action. The opening discussion examines how political leadership, multilateral cooperation, and civil society engagement can close persistent gaps and strengthen resilience. An intergenerational conversation then brings leadership and lived experience into a dialogue, exploring how the perspectives of younger generations can shape more inclusive and effective responses to global health challenges.

The event culminates in the launch of a major new initiative to accelerate innovation to prevent stillbirths; a concrete example of how collaboration and targeted investment can translate shared ambition into measurable progress.
Following the Signature Event, guests are invited to a reception to continue the conversations and connect with fellow participants in an informal setting.
