About the session
Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) face increasing political and financial pressure worldwide. Many partner countries face growing pressure to achieve more with limited resources, increasing the need for innovative, cost-effective, and rights-based approaches that can help countries be strategic and protect SRHR.
This session will explore what actually works for SRHR delivery and how to achieve stronger health outcomes with available resources through innovative approaches. The discussion will highlight innovative financing approaches such as blended finance mechanisms and public-private partnerships. These strategic investments can improve long-term sustainability and strengthen local ownership. At the same time, the session will focus on practical innovations in service delivery and capacity building, including smarter and more sustainable approaches to training healthcare providers. By redefining innovation beyond technology, community-based approaches that make every investment more responsive, equitable, and impactful are essential to gain the big picture.
The session will bring together governments, international organizations, civil society, and private-sector actors to exchange experiences and identify effective partnerships. The discussion aims to generate practical ideas on how innovation, partnerships, and strategic investments can strengthen equitable and sustainable SRHR systems in times of growing political and financial pressure.
