Located in the Persian Gulf, south of Iran, Kish Island is a famous tourist attraction with state-of-the-art facilities for bath leisure and business enterprises. As a free trade zone, nationals of most countries do not need a visa to travel to Kish.
Kish has a very dry semi-equatorial climate. The humidity is approximately 60% for most of the year. Kish's weather is mild, ranging from 23 °C (73 °F) to 31 °C (88 °F) in April.

It is a perfect place for profitable shopping and trading. The price of goods in Kish are notably cheaper than in mainland Iran. Many Iranians and tourists visit Kish to purchase duty free clothes, electronic goods, cosmetics, etc. There are a number of large shopping centers, most of them situated in the eastern part of the island. Due to the daytime heat, most shops are closed from 13:00 until around 17:30. Some stay open until late into the night. The shopping malls in Kish cater to every taste.
It is one of the most active and economic Iranian airports and stands in the fourth rank in terms of number of flight operations and transporting passengers. There are a number of international airlines flying to Kish International Airport and it has about 36 flights daily. The terminal with an area of 12,000 SQM, is constructed in 3 stories consisting of office spaces, VIP salon, bank, ticket selling booths, customs, restaurants, shops and welfare areas, waiting salons, fully smart and modern air condition systems as well as safety and security systems.
Though Kish is a small island, it has numerous tourist attractions.
The Greek Ship is the wreck of a 1943 cargo steamship, the Koula F, on a beach on Kish's southwest coast. The historic and famous old ship resting on one of the shores of Kish Island. It has become a major tourist attraction in recent years. She was originally a British ship, Empire Trumpet, and was built in Scotland. In 1966, she ran and all that remains is her steel hull.
The ancient underground aqueduct, also called the "Underground City," is partly open for tourists. It was built about 1,000 years ago for transportation and water supply across the different parts of the island.
The Underground Town of Cariz, is more than 2,500 years old, and currently it has been converted into an underground town at a depth of 16 meters below the surface, with an area of more than 10,000 square meters
The Ancient Town of Harireh, the ruins display mortar masses and stone-made buildings in an area of some 3 by 1 kilometer long. The structures have been built of sand stones with some plaster layers on the walls. Some of the structures that they once ounce used to contain many floors. Harireh town is estimated to be 800 years old. It is also believed the town was most likely been destroyed by a powerful earthquake.
Kish Dolphin & Crocodile Park, is the unique ocean atrium in the Middle East, and visitors can enjoy spectacular dolphin and other sea mammal shows in a family-oriented atmosphere. The Dolphin Park is a 170-acre park located at the south east corner of Kish Island. It is surrounded by over 22,000 palm trees, and includes a dolphinarium, butterfly garden, silkworm compound, bird garden, artificial rain forest, volcanic mountain, orchid garden, and cactus garden. The dolphinarium includes the largest man made pool on the island, and exhibits dolphins, sea lions, and white whales. The Bird Garden in the park is home to more than 57 species of birds and other animals from around the world including pelicans, ostriches, blue-and-yellow macaws, storks, toco toucans, turacos, swans, African penguins, and marsh crocodiles.

The beaches, which have a bluish tint, and the long shoreline that sees many tourists visit during the winter season. The water is so clear that fish can be seen swimming in the sea all year long.Snorkeling on the beaches of Kish Island is said to be amongst the best in the world, while the scuba-diving offers an even more spectacular insight of life beneath the waters. A variety of other water sports are also available: jet-skiing, sailing, fishing, parasailing, reef walking, coral viewing, boating and water-skiing are just a few of the popular ways to spend the time and enjoy yourself during your visit to the Island. Kish has gorgeous white sandy beaches for relaxing walks.
Ladies’ beach, an area with extent of 2,000 square meters is constructed at north of the island. Some services such as fresh water shower at desert and also in roofed area, beds, awning, relaxing massage, beach volleyball and buffet is prepared for tourists.
Kish recreation harbor, is a beautiful and fun harbor in the Kish tourist area. You can walk or sit there for hours and watch beautiful and colorful fishes and enjoy the fun features of this pier specially beautiful and lovely sunrise and sunset in Kish Island.
There are plenty of beautiful restaurants in Kish Island. It has about 50 restaurants with the lovely environment in beach side and in the Island with the collection of delicious seafood, Persian cuisines, fast foods, etc.
