World Health Summit 2026 Program Now Online

The ​official program for the World Health Summit 2026​ is now available online. From October 11–13, 2026, the Summit will bring together more than 4.000 participants on-site and 400 speakers from politics, science, civil society, and the private sector for more than 75 sessions in Berlin.

Under the theme “From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health,” the WHS 2026 program addresses major challenges shaping global health today and brings together perspectives across sectors, disciplines, and regions.

Main program highlights include the WHS Opening Night, the WHS Signature Event, and five Keynote Sessions:

  • Launch of the Findings from the Lancet Commission on 21st Century Global Threats to Health

  • Resilience in Healthcare: Crises Worldwide Call for Resilient Health Care Systems

  • Pandemic Preparedness at a Crossroads: Financing and Governing Global Health Security

  • Governing the Global Health Architecture in a Multipolar World

  • Transforming the Future: Ending Preventable Maternal and Child Deaths

The WHS 2026 program will explore six Central Topics and look beyond them to the broader challenges shaping global health:

  • global health architecture

  • pandemic prevention, preparedness and response

  • health equity for women, children, and youth

  • future-ready health systems

  • conflict and health; and

  • environmental drivers of health.

Confirmed speakers include leading experts and representatives from international organizations, governments, academia, civil society, and the private sector. Among them are:

  • Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO)

  • Sania Nishtar, CEO, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance

  • Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, President, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

  • Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health, Ukraine

  • Budi Sadikin, Minister of Health, Indonesia

  • Jane Halton, Chair of the Board, Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI)

  • Hiroyuki Okuzawa, President & CEO, Daiichi Sankyo, Japan

  • Teresa Harris Graham, CEO, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Switzerland

  • Catherine Kyobutungi, Executive Director, The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), Kenya

The World Health Summit 2026 will take place from October 11–13, 2026, at the Hotel InterContinental Berlin and online.

About the World Health Summit  

The World Health Summit is the leading platform for global health. Founded in 2009, it brings together stakeholders from politics, science, the private sector, and civil society to set the agenda for a healthier future. The annual Summit is held every October in Berlin, organized by the WHS Foundation GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The Summits are complemented each year by a WHS Regional Meeting held in a different part of the world, where regional health priorities take center stage.
