Young Physician Leaders

Effective healthcare institutions need effective leaders.
The InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) initiative Young Physician Leaders (YPL) helps to build these capacities. Selected participants from around the world are invited to Berlin to participate in the World Health Summit, receive leadership training, and visit Berlin area research laboratories.

YPL was launched in 2011 and is a program in partnership with the World Health Summit and the M8 Alliance. It is organized by the IAP in collaboration with the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) and supported by the Tides Foundation, the Charité, and the Bayer Science & Education Foundation, with additional support from Siemens Healthineers.
A list of particpants who have already been trained in the program can be found in the dedicated YPL Directory.
