John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College
The Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College connects students, faculty, and global leaders to tackle the world's most pressing challenges. Named for John Sloan Dickey, Dartmouth's 12th president, a diplomat and educator who charged students to make the world's troubles their own, the Center carries his legacy forward across four pillars: Global Health and Development, Arctic and the Environment, Peace and Security, and Global Studies. With programs, events, and policy research, it bridges academic insight and real-world action by educating, convening, and empowering engagement with international affairs.
