Led by Professor Xavier Jouven, the Paris Cité Global Health Institute is a new interdisciplinary hub advancing research on global health transitions — epidemiological, demographic, socio-environmental, and nutritionnal. With a strong focus on Africa, it explores non-communicable diseases, access to medicines, planetary health, and digital health. Through an integrated approach combining epidemiology, sociology, law, economics, and artificial intelligence, the Institute pioneers research into the interactions between infectious and non-communicable diseases to design preventive strategies grounded in research and education.
