Wilhelm von Humboldt Foundation

The purpose of the Foundation, which was founded in 2006, is to further the scientific legacy of Wilhelm von Humboldt, in particular his concept of science as 'something not yet completely found and never to be completely disclosed.' The special orientation of the Foundation results from Wilhelm von Humboldt’s belief that human sexuality must be a central starting point for the study of human nature. The work of the Foundation focuses therefore on the myriad implications for sexuality and partnership arising from this premise and the accompanying psychological, physical and social processes.
