Fraunhofer-Institut für Bildgestützte Medizin MEVIS

The Fraunhofer Institute for Medical Image Computing MEVIS develops interactive assistance systems for clinical routines. It focuses on medical image data used in early detection, diagnosis, therapy planning, therapy support, or follow-up. Fraunhofer MEVIS was founded 1995 as Movies Research gGmbH and became part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in 2009. It is based in Bremen and has about 100 employees.
