The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) is a collaborative, patients' needs–driven, nonprofit drug research and development (R&D) organization that develops new treatments for neglected diseases, notably human African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness), leishmaniasis, Chagas disease, pediatric HIV, filaria, and malaria. Founded in 2003, the DNDi has its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and has offices in Kenya, the Republic of Congo, India, Japan, Brazil, Malaysia, and USA.
