Pennsylvania State University

Founded in 1740, Pennsylvania State University is one of the largest public universities in the United States. It currently employs 4,555 faculty members, has an undergraduate student body of 10,000, and an additional 10,000 students enrolled in its graduate and professional schools. The university has 12 graduate and professional schools, among them the Perelman School of Medicine, which is one of the top recipients of NIH funding in the United States.
