Charité Centre for Global Health

The Charité Centre for Global Health (CCGH) was founded in January 2023 and aims to establish strong local, national and international activities and partnerships in Global Health. These extend to research, clinical care, teaching and policy, in cooperation with stakeholders in the governmental and non-governmental sector. The Centre is currently composed of the Institute for Virology, the Institute for International Health (formerly Tropical Institute) and the Global Engagement team, which also includes collaborations with the World Health Summit. Together with our affiliated and associated members and organizations, including our research partners in many parts of the world, we represent a forum of excellence and expertise across a portfolio of Global Health Themes.
