The University of Tübingen is a public research university located in the city of Tübingen, Germany, and has been a place of top-level research and excellent teaching for more than 500 years. It is one of the eleven German Universities of Excellence and receives strategic funding for three Clusters for Excellence: “Controlling Microbes to Fight Infections (CMFI)”, “Image-Guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies (iFIT)” and “Machine Learning: New Perspectives for Science (ML)”. It is a partner in five of the seven German Centers for Health Research, initiated by the German Federal Government.
