Yannick Neuder is a cardiologist and former head of the cardiovascular and thoracic department at the Grenoble University Hospital (CHU). He served as municipal councilor and then mayor of Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs from 1995 to 2019, and in 2014 founded the Bièvre Isère intermunicipal community, which he chaired until 2022. A regional councilor for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes since 2015, he was vice-president of the regional council from 2016 to 2022. Elected deputy for Isère’s 7th constituency in 2022 and re-elected in 2024, he has held various responsibilities within the National Assembly’s Committee on Social Affairs, including vice-chair from 2023 to 2024, before becoming its general rapporteur in July 2024. At the same time, he was a member of the Social Security Financing Law Evaluation and Oversight Mission (MECSS). In December 2024, he was appointed Minister Delegate to the Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity and Families, responsible for Health and Access to Care.
