Happy New Year
Thanks to our partners and wonderful speakers and participants the year 2015 was very prosperous for the World Health Summit. More than 1,500 participants from around 90 countries attended the seventh World Health Summit from October 11-13 at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and more than 3,000 people worldwide attended the meeting via online live-stream.
More than 260 international experts from academia, politics, the private sector, and civil society held active discussions in six keynotes, four panel discussions and 27 workshops on key topics such as refugee health, antimicrobial resistance, big data, and the effects of climate change on health (in preparation for the December 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris).
