To achieve sustainable development in all health related sectors, we have to empower the next generation of decision-makers. Hence, we foster several initiatives in close cooperation with our partners:

Young Physician Leaders

In the IAP for Health program Young Physician Leaders (YPL) top young professionals are being trained at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in special leadership programs and will attend the World Health Summit.

New Voices in Global Health

The New Voices in Global Health (NVGH) initiative promotes the active participation of young scientists in the World Health Summit.

Selected participants will present their work at the WHS in October in Berlin. Abstracts will be published digitally.

Next Generation of Science Journalists Award

Launching a career as science journalist proves to be an arduous endeavor - medical science journalism is no exception.

To help recognize emerging experts, the “Next Generation of Science Journalists” Award is being granted by the World Health Summit in cooperation with Deutsches Ärzteblatt, the European Union of Science Journalists’ Associations (EUSJA), and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
